Why having
PCKT1256 adapter?
Having a CitiDISK to directly record the
DV footage simultaneously to the tape is an excellent idea; it
eliminates the ine

footage to the computer process before editing. However, CitiDISK DV
internal battery supports up to one and half hours recording time only,
which is not enough for long hours recording, e.g. 6 hours concert, and
the internal battery takes 4 to 6 hours to be fully charged.
Pocket Adapter PCKT1256 answers to this
need. This pocket adapter fits one CitiDISK entirely; includes with
CitiDISK the whole unit is sandwiched between the professional camera

PCKT1256 fits easily with most of the professional broadcasting camera,
especially with its sturdy but lightweight aluminum case, to hold and to
sustain the dynamic vibration in the real world; it's fully transparent
to whatever your shooting style may be.

Naming convention:
- The
"PCKT1256" stands for Pocket Adapter for 1256 enclosure,
e.g. CitiDISK DV FW1256, FW1256B and FW1256C. FW1256H
for CitiDISK HDV and FW1256HD for CitiDISK HD.
- The
first character after the "-" stands for the male battery
plate type that must match with the camera battery mounting plate.
- The
second character after the "2" stands for the female
battery plate type that match with the battery.
For example, this camera's battery
mounting bracket is receptacle of 3-stud like AntonBaure plate( G-Mount
), so, the matching plate on the PCKT1256 must be "G-Mount",
and first character should be "G". The second character
bracket type must match with this particular "V-Mount" type of
battery illustrated below, so it is "V". After all, this
pocket adapter is "PCKT1256-G2V". Although such combination
illustrated below rarely happens, it is shown here just to show how it
works. Most likely, user wants to have "PCKT1256-V2V" or
"PCKT1256-G2G". |
